- A visit to Tauranga's The Strand, a short street packed with restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and nightclubs for entertainment all day long.
- A walk around the base track or up to the summit of the Mount. It's scenic, good exercise and caters for all fitness levels - with plenty of seating and viewpoints along the way.
- A trip to the Mount Maunganui Hot Pools at the foot of the Mount. Warm, soothing salt water hot pools are just the ticket if you've trekked around the Mount.
